The adventures of Carson & Harper: Daytona, Beach, FL (March, 2012)

Jeff, Carson and I decided to take one last vacation before baby girl gets here in May. We went to Daytona, FL last week and stayed in Jeff''s parents' condo. It was a very relaxing trip and we didn't do much, which was nice. We had great weather and got some nice tans :) Even though this was Carson's 4th time flying he freaked out when the plane took off and cried most of the flight. He also insisted on sitting on my lap, which is currently occupied by baby girl, so it was a very unpleasant flight. ha

I think Carson enjoyed his trip to the beach though. The outdoor pool was a bit cold so he would just sit for hours on the side of the pool everyday and play in the water with his toys. Then Jeff would try and take him down to the beach to build sand castles and Carson wasn't too sure about the sand. He has a weird thing about textures and was refusing to walk on the beach early in the week but by the end he would at least play in it. Every afternoon we would all swim in the indoor pool, which was Carson's favorite part of the day. He swam for hours and jumped in off the side. I think he is going to be a little fish this summer. I'm glad his grandma and grandpa Wulfeck have a pool :)

We had a really nice 6 days in Daytona. The trip kind of made me sad that this was the last time we will travel as a family of 3 and get to devote all of our attention to Carson but I'm sure we will love baby girl just as much and enjoy being a family of 4 :)
