I can't believe May is almost over! We are finally starting to get some nice weather and it has been storming here like crazy. I think after today it is finally going to stay nice hopefully.
We started off May with going to the KY Horse Park in Lexington, KY. Its a fun place where you can see retired Derby winners, ride horses, and watch horse shows, etc. I was shocked Carson loved petting the huge horses. He wouldn't get near an Easter bunny last month but he will pet a horse, go figure?
We then went to my parents' cabin for Mother's Day. Mom got a wagon to pull Carson around in and poor Dad got stuck pulling him around the whole cabin several times.
Carson is 16 months old now and getting quite the personality. He is saying several words but his favorites are "my Daisy" and "oh wow." He is RUNNING everywhere now and has busted his face a few times because he gets going too fast. I looked at him the other day and realized he isn't a baby anymore. He looks like a toddler now :( He is so much fun though and is so silly. I miss the baby stage but he is a lot more fun in this stage. As you can see below his favorite things to do now are sweep and mow. He will be a great helper in a few years :)
